Not even the presidential secretariat believes that this report would be used for any productive purpose.
The five member commission is presently involved in gathering information and is expected to release a report in July or August when an election nears.
Opposition leader Mahinda Rajapaksa has told parliament that the report by a presidential commission that investigated fraud and corruption committed during his office was politically-motivated and unacceptable.
The president has not used that particular report or the investigation report into the Central Bank bond issue for any purpose.
Therefore, there is no belief either in the latest commission he has appointed even in the early stages of its functioning.
