Contradictions on convening parliament!

The President's Media Division (PMD) says that president Maithripala Sirisena is yet to take an official decision with regard to convening parliament.

The Speaker's office too, notes that they are yet to be informed of a date as well. Although a request has been made to convene parliament on Nov. 05 or 07, a final decision has not been made as of yet, the Speaker's office notes.
However, earlier today, newly appointed Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa had said that the president will reconvene parliament on November 05.

"President has decided to reconvene the parliament on 5th," Rajapaksa was quotes as to saying during a meeting at the prime minister's office.
